What motivates You? Don’t say it’s the things around you. That’s too easy. Motivation that comes from within is the kind that lasts, the kind that will take you to your dreams. Do you want to be Wealthy? Then you need to go deep within yourself and find the reasons why.
Passions drive motivation best. Yesterday, we examined your passions and how to find them. What turns you on so much that it can keep you up at night? Something that you could do all day and forget to eat? Something the creates a ball of excitement in your gut and only burns brighter the more you do it? This is your passion, and it needs to be fed properly in order for you to grow and become successful.

For me, Writing, Game Design and Movies get me going. I co-created and co-wrote a game called Secrets of the Lost Tomb by drawing upon a lifetime of stories and movies I’ve absorbed into my mind. I am a very creative person, able to turn a small thing into an entire blog post or a new game. Just the other day, I came up with an idea about animals in a zoo trying to figure out which among them killed the zookeeper overnight. I don’t know what it will become, but I already like the theme and the silliness of it. I’ll keep you posted.
While I’m on the subject of Game Design, my friends at Shoot Again Games have a new Kickstarter. The game is called Conspiracy! And it’s a blast to play. It’s a very easy game that would be perfect in a party setting. I highly recommend it here’s the link:

Never Quit
What motivates you? There are two main ways to motivate someone. There is Fear and there is Inspiration. The difference is quite profound. If I tell you that I will cook your family on a big barbeque grill if you don’t do something for me, that’s Fear. I I tell you that your family will eat at a barbeque restaurant for a year if you do that same thing for me, that’s Motivation. Both work, but only motivation lasts long enough make any difference for you and your future. Fear is limited, and hurtful in the short run.
Yes, I think it’s okay to abandon the big, established, stuck tribe. It’s okay to say to them, “You’re not going where I need to go, and there’s no way I’m going to persuade all of you to follow me. So rather than standing here watching the opportunities fade away, I’m heading off. I’m betting some of you, the best of you, will follow me.”
